DescriptionThe Magdeburg Museum of Technology is located at the historical site of a factory building which was built in 1871. The factory was first used as a foundry for tanks, later on as an assembly shop and finally as a manufacturing facility by the large Magdeburg-based SKET company. The exhibits on display at the museum bear witness to the industrial history of Magdeburg where visitors are able to understand the underlying principles and procedural methods by exploring operational models.xternal caterer Today, there is however more to the place than just historical technology. The exhibition hall offers an opportunity to hold conferences, meetings and events in a very special and unique setting. |
